Allie Sloan is 15 Months Old

Allie Sloan is 15 months old today! Here's a little bit about our baby girl!

She is still very petite, weighing in at 19lbs!

She wears size 6-12m or 12m clothes and size 2 or 3 shoes.

Size 2 diaper!

Schedule: You wake up around 7:30 in the morning, take one long nap from 1:30-4:30, and then go down for the night at 8pm. You still nurse to sleep making you my longest nurser, it's only once a day and I'm not in any rush to wean.

You are a pretty good eater, but also picky at a much earlier age than your siblings. You love fajita chicken but that's about the only meat you will eat. You have your staples of fig bars, applesauce, pb&j's, and breakfast quesadillas to name a few.

You are very much a mamas girl and you do not like to be far from me. You love your blanket and kitty, playing with the stroller and baby dolls, being outside, and swinging outside.

You DO NOT like to be dropped off anywhere and will hit a note of screaming that no ones ever heard before. You do not like baths and do not like to be in the car seat for long periods of time.

You run everywhere and love to talk! You say all of our names along with repeating various words that we say. Since Asher is in speech, you listen to us work and repeat a lot of his words. We are patiently waiting on more teeth since you STILL only have five teeth. You can very much throw a tiny toddler fit and you can also be a little bit mean to all of us! You like to hit if you don't get your way.

You still look exactly like me! Your hair is a strawberry blonde that sometimes look red. It is growing long and the rat tail from last year is filling it. You have big blue eyes, the sweetest smiles, and just a handful of teeth!

Sloany girl, we adore you!!!!

 

Aiden Duke is 6.5!

Aiden Duke is 6.5 and living his best beach life! He is halfway to SEVEN and about to start FIRST grade! How can it be?!?!

Aiden is loyal through and through to his brother, sisters and friends. For every fight he has with Annie, he is also lost without her. Asher is his best buddy and they love to play cars and figurines and sometimes legos. He loves to talk baby talk with Allie and I think she'll always be his baby.

He loves to help in the kitchen and loves to try new foods, still. Right now his love language are his special nights when he gets to stay up late, make a snack and watch a movie with us.

You love love music and are always dancing when it's playing. You love classical music but we've recently been listening to classic rock and you love it!

A hobby you picked up this spring/summer is gardening. You've helped us plant and water and love to check it each morning. You said the tomatoes we grew were the best and when caterpillars destroyed our first round of bell peppers, you said they were the rudest caterpillars you've ever met.

You love to draw and we've discovered Kids Art Hub is really fun. We are in the middle of several chapter books right now but you're favorite this year has been Little House in the Big Woods.

Teeth are starting to fall out! Right now your top teeth are lose and hopefully falling out soon.

We will continue homeschooling in the fall and look forward to first grade!

Sizes:

You wear a 6/7 across the board and weigh about 60lbs. You wear a size 1 shoe.

Aiden Duke, as we leave behind these baby/toddler/preschool years and head straight for the "kid" years, we look forward to the boy you're becoming and all the new things we get to discover with you!

 

Allie's First Birthday Pictures

Allie's pictures was probably one of the smoothest and easiest shoots we've ever done! Everyone was cooperative and smiled so great!

I knew from the day we found out that Allie was a girl that she'd wear this bubble for her birthday pictures. It was Annie's and is my all time favorite!

Sister was a FAN of the cake! Best day ever!

And since everyone was in a good mood, she did individuals!
